1 How do I clean hand-painted apparel?
Turn the garment inside out and hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. For machine washing, use the delicate cycle and a mesh bag. Never use bleach or fabric softeners, as they can break down the archival paint pigments.
2 Can I iron my painted jacket?
Yes, but never iron directly on the artwork. Turn the garment inside out and use a cool setting. For best results, place a piece of parchment paper between the iron and the back of the painted area.
